Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. Kristen was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods, to an Polish mother and a father that has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen found her talent in entertainment as a young age. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency before she turned 13; she later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper ads. Along with learning in private classes, she began her acting career at that time. Bell was a character who did not have a credit in Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music and the drama club. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school, and she was awarded the role of Dorothy. After graduating, Bell made the move to New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts and studied musical theater. Bell was a graduate in 2001, resigned her college studies in order to take on in the role of Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also that Bell made her first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene has been cut out and the credits only depict her. Bell appeared part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
